My artistic side has been complaining recently that it is not being expressed enough, so I have ventured back this way to try and remedy the situation.
That is to say, until life distracts me too much to return again. Which will probably be any moment, so I better get cracking! lol
But this time, instead of just photos (as great as those little guys are), it's time to get out the pens, pencils, paints and other art supplies and have some good old fashioned mess making. That's the problem with ditigal photos, there is no mess to be had, nothing to (try) to remove from the fingers, it's not tactile in nature... There is simply no substitute for getting your hands dirty and getting covered from head to toe in your work.
Though my art skills are extremely limited, so don't expect anything wonderous. Which leads me to a young man who can draw - you can find some of his work here:
[link] Needless to say, I am very envious of his talent. I always try to go for realism in my artworks, but since I never practice, I am totally nowhere near where I want to be! So, I'm off to practice. The only problem is that I never know what to draw... need to start with something nice and simple and not too difficult - suggestions on a postcard please !
Thank you!
P.S. Yes, I know that didn't make complete sense, but lets be honest - I never do anyway lol
Keep meaning to put some more up, but haven't got round to it yet.
